Who we are

The Teal Monkey, 89 Dublin Road, Belfast BT2 7HQ (“we”, “us”) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Contact: [email protected] · 028 9033 2030.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries. When you send an event, Christmas or contact enquiry we receive your name, email, phone number and the details you give us. We use them only to reply and to arrange your booking (legitimate interests / taking steps to enter a contract). Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Table bookings are handled by ResDiary on our behalf. ResDiary’s own privacy notice applies to the information you give in the booking form.
• Gift vouchers are sold through Gift Up!, with payment processed by their payment partner. We receive the purchaser and recipient details needed to issue and redeem vouchers.
• Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example which pages lead to bookings). See our cookie policy.

Sharing

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the service providers above, who act on our instructions, or where the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
